Things I think I can safely say I will never have:

  1. An afro
  2. A doberman pincher
  3. Braces
  4. A lowered car
  5. A child named "Lamar"
  6. A beauty pageant title
  7. A Juicy Couture tracksuit
  8. Six toes on one foot
  9. Spam or Klick in my fridge
  10. Implants
  11. A knack for math
  12. CBC as a programed radio station
  13. A taste for short stories
  14. A subscription to Sport Fishing magazine
  15. Thigh-high boots
But don't quote me...

I think you may have mentioned this before, but seriously, what have you got against the CBC? CBC radio kicks all kinds of ass.

Propaganda. Like the Canada Food Guide.

Violette don't waste your breath I been trying for years. One day she'll realize what she's been missing. There was a mini intervention last night over tea regarding how she would like CBC radio 2 but it failed ... but I live in the hope she might one day secretly start listening and then just not tell us all :)

Fingers!
(currently listening to CBC)

I have feeling that one day you will win a beauty pageant title. Like on that reality show on TLC - Instant Beauty Pageant. You'll be tootin' around the mall one day when a camera will be shoved in your face and you will slyly agree to participate, and then of course kick everyone's ass and will be crowned Mall Queen, 2016.

p.s. for that, I'm getting you a doberman pincher for your next birthday and naming it Lamar.

for being ontario-haters, people of the praries love the cbc. like, they LOVE IT. even truckers and teenagers who work at gas bars and ladies who in brampton would be listening to ez rock while answering phones at the dentist reception desk--these are all hardcover cbclovers.

it's a bit surreal and why you should never live in saskatchewan.
